The ARROWSA installation of They stand their ground against gender-based violence is up at the Durban City Hall foyer in Anton Lembede Street. The installation is one of the outcomes of the ARROW-INDRA collaborative arts for social change project that included youth and leaders from ARROWSA Bechet, Local History Museums and CCMS, UKZN in Durban and South Roots International in Cape Flats, South Africa and youth from SHEF in Lucknow India and Gorse hill Studios and Touchstones Rochdale in the UK. The project and installation in South Africa are funded by National Arts Council (See short-term projects for more information). Words of support may be added on to Deli who represents the domestic space and Thanaka who represents the LGBTQ+ community.
